Dedication note from junior

Last week, my classmate passed me a dedication post card.
My name was written on it.
I was surprised!
I mean, this dedication thing only happened during my secondary time.
I remembered exchanging gifts with girlfriends were the best moments.
Everyone cracked their head to think what should give, then handmade the objects..
I once received a cactus, bottle of stars, cute handmade cards, stones etc.

I never think of i would still receiving dedication in my college days.

Thank you my junior, stephanie for the card.
It was sweet.
She thanked me for helping her when she enrolled herself in choosing to be a teacher.
I remembered we communicate via Friendster that time.. Er.. 3 / 4 years back?
Lol.. Facebook was a nobody that era.

I am glad that she did not regret.
I am sure she will be an excellent teacher in the future. ;)))

Girls day out

Saturday!!!

Too bored staying in hostel.
Decided to hop to Penang island with the girls.

It was super long queue while waiting for the ferry.
*sorry no pic. =.= it's just some common traffic jam which you can see in kl.*

We did not decide any place to visit/shop.

Since we traveled by ferry, the closest mall from the jetty was KOMTAR!

We went for this shop, Fresh 鲜茶工坊 located in Komtar Walk, recommended by akean.

I ordered passion fruit green tea with coco & pearl, RM3.50

Consider cheap, kan?
Eh.. You can't get this price in a shopping mall leh.. With pearl some more...! Nata De Coco lagi...!

Teng is always the joker.

Just right outside the cafe, there was this function by suria.fm, Malaysia's Malay radio station.

We did not know who the malay singer is... But still... We went to the concourse to give support to take the free gifts ...

We hang around in Komtar to pass our time because I need to pass clothes to my buyer. =) Fast deal buyer.

She found it in a blogger's blog.. and heard from friends that the western food here is awesome!

My order: Coke+ Mushroom soup+ Grilled Lamb Chop
Total: RM2+RM5+RM14.50 = RM21.50

Rate: 3.5/10

I don't find the food here is nice.
A bit below average.
Friends also find that their chicken chops weren't taste that good.
But frankly, the price is cheap. =)
Chicken chop only cost RM7.

I don't like the environment either.
The stall was in a hawker shop, in a housing area.
The surrounding was hot.
We sweat while cutting our chops. LOL! =.=""

Now, we understand that, never fully trust a food review from the internet.

Melaka's FIRST bamboo raft

The title looks pretty interesting ya?!
YES! You got it right.
It's the Melaka's FIRST self-made bamboo raft by two guys. (mister and his friend)

Things started off during their chatting sessions.
Suddenly this "let's-invent-something" mind struck them.

This project wasn't easy.
Both of them were working, both were far apart and were not in Malaysia.
They started to discuss on the project via whatsapp. (thankful to the technologies these days)

The draft mister had drawn.

Since then, they chose a date and went for bamboo hunting.

Even work till late night... *Salute*

And have the chances of getting injured.

I was impressed by this!!!
So neat.
My tying is always a mess!! (when I learned gadget tying in girl guides :x )

Holiday trip @ The Legend Water Chalet, Port Dickson

Raya holidays...
Back to hometown Malacca.
The mister said wanna go for holidays.. before he goes for work. :(
We chose the place which is out of the state but somewhere which is near Malacca.
"PORT DICKSON!!! " he said.

Port Dickson, located in the state of Negeri Sembilan.
1 hour drive from Malacca- Port Dickson.

Woke up in the morning...
Just to realise that my car tyre.... "Kena paku"... !
Sorry, no pic for that...
Totally ruined our journey.

Luckily mister was observant enough to spot the nail.
If not, I wouldn't think of what will happen when we were driving in highway. B-(
The breakfie with family session gotta cancel...
Saying sorry to grandma and mom for not having breakfast with them.
Then sent the car to workshop nearby immediately.

WHAT A DAY !!!

It took only ten minutes for the tyre to be done.
Nope, not changing the whole tyre. ( i just knew it)
The tyre uncle just used some small tubes and inserted the tube into the hole of my tyre.
yes, just ten minutes.
RM5 for the workmanship.

Okay, at least... not a bomb for the wallet.

When it was done,
I kept asking the uncle..
"Uncle, are you sure it is done? Just like that? Coz I need to travel far journey you know?! Can tahan...? "
The uncle laughed..." Can.. No problem lar... Still can use for a longgggg time..... TAHAN! "

Went to somewhere along Heeren Street for breakfast.
Yu Kiao Mee.
Recommended by mister.
It was my first time to the kopitiam.
Heeren Street and Jonker Street is not my area... I mean.. I'm not familiar any famous shops, food stalls, etc.
But my mister is the expert in these area...!
He has a lot kang-taw when asked bout food. :P

We head to highway after our breakfast.
We made a stop in Lumut for lunch.
Lumut is a small town which 15 minutes away from Port Dickson.

Went for the famous curry king bun.

Super big bun.
The bun is bigger than my face!!!

Okay, you can't really see how big is the bun from the picture.
You gotta go there and see!!! O_O||
In the bun, there is curry chicken with curry gravy.
So, just tear the bun, dip into the curry and enjoy it. :D

We reached The Legend Water Chalet, Port Dickson.
About RM400+ per night.
The amount was slightly higher than the rate we saw in the internet.
Maybe it was due to peak season.... Raya season you know.. =.=
Spent 3 days 2 nights there.

(that's why they named it water chalet..you dum dum... =.- )

Due to tiredness, we decided to have our dinner in the hotel's cafe.

I guessed I need to confiscate his iphone in order him to look at me!!!

(Okay, except for the last night when mister received a call from his company, asking him to rush back for work the next day... :((( )

After all, you always feel sweet when you spend your days with the person you love.
